Biographical details

Jyhene Kebsi is a Teaching Fellow in the English Department at The University of Sydney. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours First Class), she did her first M.A. at Laval University in Canada. She did her second M.A. at Saint Thomas University in the United States. Her Ph.D. thesis focuses on the representation of gendered paperless migration in transnational world literature and cinema. Jyhene is affiliated with the Gender, Migration and Work of Care Project. She was also a Teaching Mentee at Saint Thomas University. Jyhene has academic competence in Arabic, French and English.
