The dual degree program is open to both domestic and international applicants. The program is only available to recent school leavers with no record of tertiary study. Fluency in French is not required.

Prospective students must apply directly to the University of Sydney in order to be considered for the Dual Degree program. Housing options, tuition fees, and financial support vary depending on the student and the institution.

Admission to the Dual Degree program is highly competitive. Acceptance to the program will be determined by a Sciences Po – University of Sydney Dual Degree Admissions Committee. The committee will evaluate applications broadly on evidence of academic achievement and intellectual readiness, and on applicants’ own representation of their experience, ideas, and aspirations. Applicants must also meet the minimum admission requirements for their degree of choice at the University of Sydney, including English language requirements.
