Arts and Social Sciences alumni: welcome back

We are the faculty of diverse thought. From Archaeologists to Politicians, Artists to Economists, Linguists to Teachers: our alumni cover an exceptionally broad range of experience and expertise. We embrace this diversity of talent and celebrate our differences. Ours is a rich graduate landscape.

Here, you’ll read how you can remain connected and enjoy the benefits of being part of the Arts and Social Sciences community.

A good place to start is our Facebook page-we’re pretty active on there. Like us and see what we’re up to.

Update your contact details to subscribe to our rather excellent faculty newsletter, Illuminate. It arrives in your inbox every quarter and contains bespoke content relevant to your area of study. Here you’ll find features on other Arts graduates, the latest news around the faculty and information on up-coming events.

Speaking of events: have you heard of our series of interactive talks, Outside the Square?

Think Festival of Dangerous Ideas meets Q&A, held off campus in an Old Rum Store. Prickly contemporary issues are tackled by our academics and graduate experts in front of a live audience who use their phones to comment and ask questions. There’s drinks. There’s fancy food. It’s fun. You should come.

And-did you know that all recent graduates are entitled to free Fisher library membership for 12 months, with a discounted rate thereafter? It’s true.

You can access a plethora of other benefits as a graduate too-discounted short courses at the Centre for Continued Learning; travel deals and free tickets to other university events.

Finally, there’s lots of different ways you can get involved with University after graduation-click here to learn about volunteer initiatives (mentoring; speaking opportunities; recruitment activities) drop us a line at . We’d love to hear from you.
